Hannah Yate is an artist and teacher based in Brighton, UK.

Hannah's paintings are heavily influenced by folk art and picture books. She often explores imagery and narratives that reference animals and the natural world. Taking from her textiles background she incorporates texture and surface patterns into her work. By engaging with a process that combines cotton rag paper, ink, watercolour and wax crayons she works with expressive line and rich colour.
